Our Story

Growing up, the aroma of fresh baked cookies filled our home.  My mom, sister and I spent hours in the kitchen baking cookies, cakes and pies – from scratch with fresh, real ingredients.  Inspired by my mom’s example, I carried on the made-from-scratch tradition, using a family chocolate chip cookie recipe perfected in 1983. A plate of fresh baked cookies accompanied me to every gathering, drawing rave reviews and requests for more. 

With the kids grown and out on their own, my husband Gary and I had more time to spend in the kitchen. We both enjoy creating – and eating – great food, especially desserts.  A book I read inspired me to pursue my passion, and with the full support of family and friends, Carolyn’s Cookie Company was launched in 2010.

Today, we offer six varieties of frozen cookie dough. We continue our tradition of using only fresh, natural ingredients – no preservatives – and forming our cookie dough by hand. So convenient...out of the freezer and into the oven. We make home made easy!
