My name is Carolyn, and I grew up with the aroma of freshly baked cookies filling our home. My mom, sister and I would spend hours in the kitchen making pies, cakes and cookies from real ingredients. It was our special time.
Inspired by my mom, I decided to carry on the made-from-scratch tradition using a family recipe for chocolate chip cookies that was perfected in 1983. A plate of freshly baked cookies began accompanying me to every gathering. Soon, my husband Gary and I found ourselves invited to a LOT of parties! The requests came pouring in.
When the kids grew up and moved into homes of their own, Gary and I returned to the kitchen, creating great food... especially desserts. With the full support of family and friends—and an inspiring book (Linchpin by Seth Godin)—Carolyn’s Cookie Company was launched in 2010.
Today we have a 15,000 square foot professional kitchen where we make more than 8 varieties of from scratch frozen cookie dough. We continue to use only natural ingredients and no preservatives. By sourcing as much local, natural ingredients for our easily available, frozen cookie dough, we’re bring the farm-to-table movement to the cookie world.
